While I had a slight idea of why extraditing Assange would be a bad thing, I didn’t understand the specifics. Johnny goes the specific charges against Assange and it’s worse than I thought it would be. If he get’s extradited, prosecuted and convicted this might just make journalism de facto illegal as you wouldn’t be able to rely on confidential sources anymore.
As big of an asshole as Assange is, the charges should not succeed. Free press is at stake.
