Real Real Japan Explains Quirks in Japanese With Deadpan Humor

The other day I saw a YouTube short explaining the etymology of okusan, the Japanese word for (someone else’s wife). Long story short, it was used to address a noble’s lady who lived in a separate part of the manor.

A few days later, I saw these two guys hilariously explaining the words for sister in Japanese.

Again, they’re worth watching for yourself with all the tongue twisters, homophones and WTF rules.
